Select Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively with a highly regarded, award-winning vineyard restaurant — one of the most iconic and beloved dining destinations in the region. Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Front of House / Restaurant Manager to join their close-knit, creative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who wants to be the face of a truly special restaurant, working alongside a Head Chef at the same operational level and reporting directly to the owners.
The Role
This is a 48-hour contract working Wednesday through Sunday, including Friday and Saturday evenings, with every Monday and Tuesday off.
You will:
- Lead and manage the front of house team, setting the standard for service excellence
- Work in close partnership with the Head Chef to run the day-to-day operation
- Train, develop and motivate your team
- Help shape and grow the business with the support of the owners
- Be an ambassador for great food, wine, and hospitality
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in hospitality management
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about food and wine
- Confident leading a team in a busy, quality-led environment
- Proficient in IT and restaurant systems — experience with ResDiary, Collins, or Tevalis (or equivalent booking/POS systems) is highly desirable
- Familiar with labour control/rota tools such as S4
- Ideally holding a Food Hygiene certificate and/or WSET wine qualification
- Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 per year (dependent on experience)
