Select Recruitment is working with a well-established hospitality business to find an experienced and people-focused Front of House Manager to lead their busy restaurant. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality and is passionate about exceptional customer service.
About the Role
You'll manage a large front of house team, maintain outstanding service standards, drive sales performance, and build a positive team culture. Working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Catering & Hospitality Manager, you'll play a key part in the ongoing development of our client's operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage the front of house team to deliver excellent service consistently
- Uphold high standards in customer care, cleanliness, presentation and compliance
- Drive sales performance and support achievement of targets and KPIs
- Recruit, train, develop and coach team members with ongoing feedback and support
- Foster a positive, inclusive and professional team environment
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service and strong front/back of house partnership
- Support operational planning including rotas, stock control and continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle customer feedback professionally, resolve issues and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience
- Contribute ideas and initiatives for the continued growth and development of the restaurant
- Proven experience in a front of house management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Availability to work full-time on alternate weekends (likely every weekend during peak periods)
- Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience
