At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Pastry Chef/Baker for a stunning restaurant in Newmarket.
My client are an award winning restaurant with a very loyal local following complimented with a great passing tourist trade. You will be cooking some of the finest patisserie, desserts and breads in the area using state of the art equipment and the freshest local ingredients in a purpose built pastry kitchen.
My client reward quality and standards over GPs meaning that every product leaves the kitchen in perfect condition and every guest is satisfied.
You will be responsible with your team for the pastry, breads and desserts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service, every day will be different, so a great opportunity to join If you like a varied day to day operation.
As part of your role you will have the opportunity to train, coach, mentor and impart your skills and knowledge on the junior team.
The ideal candidate will come from a high standards pastry background, with knowledge and ability to cater to high volumes and standards.
This is a great role, for a candidate who enjoys a varied and rewarding job role, working a day times contract with great flexibility regarding weekends, my client is offering a great salary of up to £28,000 plus overtime, my client is also offering a great pension, training & development.
