Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading operational improvement projects and identifying business improvement opportunities using LEAN tools.
  • Developing manufacturing solutions to accommodate growing volumes in a high mix production environment and supporting operations in addressing production delays.
  • Establishing and maintaining controlled processes, documentation, and business systems, alongside developing, implementing, and managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Qualification.
  • Multiple years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering within a quality critical environment.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Critical thinking ability for evaluating product and process designs with a view to propose improvements.
  • Experience with lean/continuous improvement principles; 5S, FMEA, VSM, Process flow, A3 Problem solving, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in the use of CAD packages.
  • Electrical knowledge and/or testing is beneficial.
