As a Maintenance Technician at my client's company, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance team, working alongside dedicated professionals in maintenance, tool room, and engineering. Reporting to the Production Team Leader and with a dotted line to the Functional Manager Asset Care Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for conducting first line maintenance, repairs, and servicing of factory assets, including injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment. Your keen attention to detail and adherence to best practice engineering and maintenance standards will ensure compliance with legislation and both local site and Group Best Practice.
In this role, your main areas of responsibility will include health and safety awareness, maintenance performance, process control and continuous improvement projects, planned maintenance, and managing Operator Asset Care. You will have the opportunity to showcase your problem-solving skills within the department, identify cost-effective replacement parts, and collaborate with other departments to meet the business priorities. Additionally, your ability to facilitate training and mentoring of colleagues will contribute to the development of a skilled and efficient team.
