You’ll be at the centre of all the action, acting as the number two to the Operations Manager, taking overall responsibility for maintenance activities. You’ll be fundamental to ensuring that the plant runs as best as it can, dealing with maintenance across a multi-disciplinary team ensuring an exceptional level of quality while keeping services cost effective. You’ll be deploying your knowledge of managing a maintenance team in an industrial setting to ensure compliance is kept with company policy and legislation. You’ll be the reason everyone is safe on site due to your diligent work and management of your team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll:
Deliver your knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure the site is safe to work on.
Use your managerial skills to budget and negotiate with contractors to ensure the best and most cost effective outcome.
Use your forward planning skills to review and assess maintenance practices, ensuring they’re always the best they can be.
