A beautiful hotel and restaurant set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside is looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career.
Working alongside the Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you'll develop your leadership skills while contributing to the creation of outstanding dishes using the finest seasonal and local ingredients.
You'll be involved in day-to-day kitchen operations and play an important part in maintaining our client's high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and service
- Help supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Contribute to menu development using seasonal, locally sourced produce
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Support with stock management and ordering
- Take charge of sections during service
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a quality establishment
- A genuine passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Eagerness to learn and develop your leadership abilities
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment

- Currently 48 hours over 5 days, with plans to transition to a 44-hour week over 4 days
