Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as an Extrusion Operative? Located in Norwich, my client are a pioneering British manufacturer in the food industry. As an Extrusion Operative, you will play a crucial role in my client’s production processes and new product development. We’re looking for someone with food manufacturing qualifications/experience, a hands-on attitude, and a team player mentality. You'll operate and adjust food processing machinery, contribute to maintaining the factory to industry standards, and bring your expertise to product development, record-keeping, and ensuring the highest food quality.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture products following company processes.
  • Operate and adjust settings on food processing machinery, particularly an extruder.
  • Maintain factory standards to industry food standards.
  • Collaborate with the production and technical teams on new products and process improvements.
  • Complete production and cleaning records.
  • Liaise with management, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Uphold factory standards, procedures, and product development.
 
Locations & Commitments:
  • Permanent, full-time role with core working hours.
  • Shift patterns may include nights and weekends, with some overtime required.
  • Located on Norwich outskirts
  • 3-month probationary period.
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Extrusion experience
  • Food production or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Personable demeanor with the ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Familiarity with food industry accreditations and regulations (e.g., BRCGS, HACCP).
  • Attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, and physical fitness.
