A New Way to Build Your Team

Select Appointments are delighted to announce the establishment of a brand-new construction recruitment desk focused on the East of England.

The construction industry saw a strong end to 2018, recording an all-time high (since monthly records began nine years ago) of £14 billion in just November. This growth has accelerated the requirement for white-collar construction staff and Select Appointments has seen a strong increase in demand. With a marked skills-shortage across the UK that is affecting almost all industries (read more about it here), it has become of paramount importance for businesses to partner with a knowledgeable and experienced recruiter with plenty of contacts. That’s where we come in.

Our Construction Desk

Our construction desk is headed up by Georgia Wastell. Georgia joins us from a leading UK construction and regeneration group, where she spent 2.5 years creating contacts across East Anglia and learning the industry inside and out. “I love working in the construction industry, the variety of people that you get to meet and the exciting projects that you get to see grow is truly inspiring,” said Georgia. “I am so glad I get to maintain my contact with the industry and am really looking forward to working with everyone in a different capacity to before.”

Bolstered by her previous knowledge, Select’s high-standing in the region and a well-established engineering desk, our construction desk is now open for business. Offering you a comprehensive recruitment service for white-collar construction positions, including but not limited to:

  • Project Manager
  • Contracts Manager
  • Estimators
  • Health & Safety Manager
  • Business Development Manager

  • Site Manager
  • Architect
  • Structural Engineer
  • Civil Engineer
  • Building Surveyor
  • Planners
  • Quantity Surveyor
  • Architectural Technician
  • Senior Management Positions

Our white-collar construction recruitment desk will work in parallel to our industrial desk who provide blue-collar staff to a wide variety of industries from construction to manufacturing.
