I am currently exclusively recruiting for a hands on Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator for an independent wedding and events business in Derbyshire.
My client is a family run wedding & events destination business, part of a small group, looking for a driven end-to-end co-ordinator to ensure all guests and parties have a day to remember.
As the Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator you will work close with the events manager and general manager to be the first point of contact for all prospective brides, grooms and event enquiries.
As part of your role you will be responsible for meeting guests and conducting show rounds selling the benefits of the site and maximising sales opportunities, the co-ordinator will be expected along with the manager to be there for the guest from the first show round to the actual wedding, ensuring a seamless transition and event.
You will need to be a naturally organised person managing a busy email account as well as incoming calls. You will also be responsible for managing multiple function sheets, ensuring accuracy as well as running the weekly and daily functions meetings.
Due to the nature of the role you will be happy to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekend to meet the requirements of the guests.
