Trainee Remote Field Service Technician
My Client, a leading and established international organisation is looking to recruit a Trainee Remote Field Service Technician.
You will be mechanically minded with practical experience in a technical/engineering based role. The role brings variety and will require frequent travel throughout the UK and occasional international travel!
Ideally, but not necessarily, you'll be based within the Midlands so you can easily commute to the office based in Oxfordshire and Customers in the North. Typically, once you have experience you will spend one day in the office, one day from home and the remainder in the field.
Initial salary will be between £20-25k, and once qualified and with a couple of years' experience, you can expect a higher salary of between £30-35k.
The Role
·On-site installation and technical support
·Manage faults
·Generate service reports
·Building positive relationships with customers
·Completing site surveys
·Providing off site technical support to resolve issues remotely
The Ideal Candidate
·Experience in a technical/mechanical role
·Happy to travel throughout the UK and internationally
·Clean UK driving licence
·Excellent communication
·Good level of IT skills
·Presentable
