About the Role
As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences by:
- Preparing and cooking fresh produce to create high-quality meals for breakfast and lunch service.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assisting in the preparation of menus for special events, such as Afternoon Teas and celebratory occasions.
- Accommodating dietary requirements and communicating with customers to meet their needs.
- Managing junior staff.
- Leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef.
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Chef who has:
- Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
- A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including customer interaction.
- Flexibility to work during the restaurant’s operating hours, including weekends.
- Annual salary ranging from £29,000 to £32,000.
