I am currently recruiting for an amazing Contract Caterer for a Sous Chef for their new site in Cambridge.

Are you looking for that unicorn of Chef employment? Working in a brand new B&I Site In Cambridge, giving you an opportunity with the management team to train, coach and develop a team, and work no evenings or weekends.  Then take a look at the role below.

My client is looking for a Sous Chef, an experienced chef with B&I or Contract Catering Background, someone who takes a great passion in inspiring, leading and developing a team and a culinary offer.  You will have a great understanding of the current market trends, both local and worldwide and how to stay ahead offering your customers the best possible food experience.  You will be able to demonstrate fantastic craft skills, and show how you can progress a team and the offer. 

My client has recently won various new contracts to serve the catering needs for the staff in multiple offices in and around Cambridge, serving up to 500 staff, VIPs & Visitors daily with additional hospitality services as required.  The ideal candidate will have great ideas of how to push site sales and increase hospitality services.

The Kitchen has a team of 3, serving a breakfast, lunch and hospitality services. 

Experience and Skills Required
The ideal candidate will be from a B&I contract catering background with good knowledge of finances and team management.
Salary and Benefits
As well as a brilliant salary of £33,000 dependant on skills, abilities and experience, enhanced pension contribution and life assurance scheme, great working hours covering just Monday to Friday & 40 hours a week.
