At Select Specialist Recruiters we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sous Chef!
The client is a destination restaurant and hotel in the heart of the Ely, part of a small independent group, with a great following from both locals and tourists, serving traditional English dishes using all fresh local produce.
As Sous Chef, you will join the management team in the kitchen, as well as learning from some of the best chefs in the region, you will also be able to impart your knowledge on the team below you. The company have an industry leading training programme and will try to promote from within at all opportunities.
You will come from a busy fresh food background, have a good understanding of menu writing & costing, stocktakes, full due diligence and be able to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
The business is very popular with locals, regulars and destination customers, as well as business guests, and can serve guests in the restaurant, garden, function room and restaurant at the same time, so an ability to multi task and operate from multiple menus at the same time.
