Overview
A hands-on operational leadership role responsible for overseeing site-based projects and technicians across multiple locations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will coordinate people, resources, and schedules to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee site projects from start to finish
- Supervise and support technicians across multiple sites
- Allocate work, manage schedules, and balance workloads
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Monitor progress and resolve issues relating to resources, equipment, or delays
- Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Enforce health & safety standards, site inspections, and compliance
- Support training, performance management, and technician development
- Maintain accurate project, safety, and operational records
- Oversee site equipment, vehicles, and stores
- Supervisory or team-lead experience in a site-based or operational environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance
- Experience coordinating multiple jobs or projects at once
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Confident communicator with both clients and site teams
- Background in construction materials, manufacturing, or site services (preferred)
- Stable, permanent role with responsibility and autonomy
