Workshop Operative
Location: Norwich Area
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (plenty of overtime available at higher rates)

Our well-established client, a respected manufacturer of high-quality engineered products, is currently expanding their workshop team and is looking for experienced Workshop Operatives to join them in the Norwich area.

The ideal candidate will bring strong engineering aptitude, a practical, hands-on mindset, and a reliable work ethic.
 
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Constructing, assembling, and finishing precision-engineered products using hand and power tools
  • Working on complex builds requiring engineering knowledge and technical aptitude
  • Fabricating sub-assemblies for sophisticated product ranges
  • Collaborating with CAD designers and workshop management on innovative solutions
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the production process
What We're Looking For:
 
Essential:
  • Strong engineering background or demonstrable technical aptitude
  • Experience with precision manufacturing or assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Practical problem-solving skills and methodical approach
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
Highly Desirable:
  • Previous experience using hand/power tools in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of quality systems (ISO9001 advantageous)
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
