The Role: A Blend of Challenge and Opportunity
In this newly created, vital role, you'll immerse yourself in day-to-day finance activities, ranging from ledger management to month-end processes. As their Management Accountant, your expertise will be key in providing robust financial management for various contracts/projects. You'll be instrumental in monitoring project performance, updating weekly forecasts, and managing change effectively. Collaborating closely with the Service Delivery Manager, you'll address operational concerns and provide financial performance updates.
You: what they’ll need from you
A solid understanding of accounting ideally from within a project environment, with a focus on developing project controls and reporting. You’ll be part or fully qualified in Accounting with solid experience. HMRC compliance (VAT) and a working knowledge of FRS102 would be advantageous.
