Are you looking for a new challenge in maintenance with a company that values you? Do you want the opportunity to work on a highly diverse number of different buildings? Our nationally respected client is looking for a Fabric Technician to support their building maintenance in the West Essex and South Hertfordshire region
Your day to day will never be boring as you’ll have the opportunity to work on different sites throughout the area. Working on grade II listed properties to new builds, you’ll seamlessly address problems and put in preventative maintenance, allowing our client’s operation to run effectively. You’ll be involved in the success of smaller scale construction projects, planning for complex activities and adapting to changing situations.
You’ll always be looking for new ways to solve problems, communicating effectively with all relevant parties. You’ll be using your experience to quickly assess problems and determine the best course of action, allowing you to use your initiative and work with less oversight.
To succeed in this role, you’ll:
  • Deploy your knowledge of fabric maintenance effectively and communicate your actions.
  • Report any issues, risks or defects to your supervisor in a timely manner while offering solutions to the problems you find.
  • Always look to improve yourself in your field, learning new safety practices and preventative measures to keep yourself at the top of your game.
Our client values their staff, trying to make them feel like a family, which comes with a number of benefits to support your work/life balance. With 27 days of holiday + bank holidays, a 6% contribution to your pension and income protection, your salary of £26,790 will always rise in-line with inflation. You’ll also be offered sports and leisure association membership, a discount card to many high street shops, free eye tests and some free counselling too.
