Are you an experienced head chef, looking for a new challenge, my client are looking for a head chef to join their team to oversee the running of their award winning Pub Restaurant with rooms located in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside
The business is a family ran business, specialising in traditional pub classics, focusing on using the best local ingredients the area has to offer, served to a very high standard.
As head chef you will be given full autonomy on menus and food ideas, and the owners would look to you to advise on equipment, staffing and supplier requirements. You will have full responsibility for coaching, developing and mentoring your team, working with your senior kitchen team to produce a menu using 100% fresh food catering for a large range of clientele and cuisines.
The business is a true destination business, with a very loyal local client base topped up with tourist guests.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of traditional English classic restaurant food, as well as being able to think on their feet to utilise specials provided by local suppliers
