I am looking for an experienced high volume standards led Restaurant General Manager to join this stunning destination gastro pub & restaurant near Bury St Edmunds.
Having undergone a significant & sympathetic refurbishment, The client is looking for the right person to really run with the opportunity. You will have the opportunity to run the business as if your own working closely with the head chef and using the full strength of head office marketing and advertising team to grow this business even further.
You will have experience in managing a large team ensuring all training, coaching & mentoring is carried out.
The business is part of a small national group of 10 businesses looking to grow and expand in the next few years so this is a great opportunity for someone to join looking to grow and develop personally.
The role offers a great salary of £38,000, profit related bonus, amazing tips, plus a range of additional benefits including being CLOSED CHRISTMAS DAY & BOXING DAY
Due to the nature of the role you will work a varied shift pattern including weekends & Bank Holidays, and will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different roles.
You will report to the area managers & directors, overseeing the running of the business. You will be tasked with the training and coaching of up to 18 junior members of the FOH team as well as a large BOH team, leading by example, demonstrating an exceptional level of customer service at all times.
As well as a great salary, this role offers amazing tips and profit related uncapped bonuses as well as being closed on Christmas Day & Boxing Day
