Are you an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Operations Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team? Are you dedicated to delivering excellent service and ensuring high standards of food quality and cleanliness?

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Food & Beverage Manager to join a prestigious Rosette awarded establishment near King's Lynn. As the Food & Beverage manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Food & Beverage team, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining consistent food standards and cleanliness.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and drive the success of the F&B department. You will collaborate with the Events team to deliver outstanding F&B experiences for functions and events, ensuring guests receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the team in delivering excellent service, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Manage staffing, including time sheets, wages, holidays, and absences, in accordance with company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and conduct regular appraisals with team members, addressing performance issues when necessary.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure team members are trained in maintaining cash security.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the F&B department, working within the allocated resources to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor revenue and costs to achieve targets and maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Events Manager to successfully deliver events and food tasting sessions.
  • Review menus with the Head Chef, ensuring they meet sales targets and budget.
  • Place and manage orders for supplies, following company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Management position.
  • Menu development and banqueting experience.
  • Food Hygiene Management and Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 2
