Our client, a fast-growing clean-energy specialist, is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to head up electrical operations, guide a skilled engineering team, and drive the rollout of sustainable power solutions across commercial installations.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors
- Manage electrical installation, testing, and commissioning for Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Oversee electrical design and ensure compliance with BS 7671, G99, IEC and CDM regulations
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure on-time delivery
- Interface with DNOs/ICPs and support grid connection applications
- Review schematics, system layouts, load calculations, and protection designs
- Provide technical support on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Manage O&M activities for installed assets
- Review power system studies (earthing, fault levels, harmonics)
- Proven experience in an electrical management or senior electrical engineering role
- Strong understanding of electrical design, system integration, and UK electrical regulations
- Knowledge of Solar PV, battery storage, and grid connection standards (G99/G100)
- Proficiency with design tools (AutoCAD, PV*Sol, Amtech or similar software)
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM practices
- Relevant electrical qualifications including 18th Edition and C&G 2391
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
