Are you an electrician looking for a step into the renewables sector? Do you want an employer that cares about your career progression and will offer you both opportunities to grow and training to get you there? Our client is looking for an Electrical Vehicle Charging Point Engineer to support their rapid expansion due to green energy success. You will be ideally placed to cover the Greater Manchester area.

Ideally, you’ll be working in a field-based role, ensuring that all electrical maintenance work is carried out in good time and to the relevant standard. You’ll be bringing your electrical knowledge to ensure all fault finding and diagnosis is carried out effectively on EV charging points, using your knowledge gained from your NVQ and 18th edition qualifications.
Key to the role will be making sure that all installations are compliant and that they are correctly maintained, giving you a varied day to day as each location will bring its own challenges.

To succeed in this role, you’ll:
  • Bring your proven experience as an electrician across so that you can hit the ground running as a charging point engineer.
  • Have a keen eye for detail to catch any faults and ensure the correct installation procedures have been followed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service so consumers know they’re in the right hands.
The successful candidate will be offered a great wage and benefits package, with an annual salary of £35,000. You’ll get the opportunity to work overtime, paid meals while on shift and a company vehicle, while being a vital part of the green future ahead of us.
