Autonomy is offered for a skilled communicator who is looking to develop further and progress in both career and industry kudos. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling and managing accounts within your assigned customer base. Additionally, you will develop and maintain business relationships with managers and senior executives to promote company growth.
Working closely with sales colleagues and department Managers, you will bring a strong desire to find solutions for clients both existing and new. Your day to day will involve attending meetings, presenting detailed proposals, and highlighting the best tailor-made solution to benefit the customers need.
Identifying new opportunities and maximising existing ones will be your forte.
The ideal BDM will bring:
3-5 years business development experience
Exposure to the freight forwarding or general logistics sector (ideally European)
Strong commercial awareness & an analytical approach to all matters
An open, likeable and engaging character – with a great deal of positivity!
A full UK drivers license
Your compensation will be highly competitive – a strong base with attractive bonus scheme – in addition to a generous company pension & healthcare scheme. Holidays are 25 days paid + bank holidays. Earning potential in excess of 80k
