You’ll get to support a wide range of SME clients, involving yourself with high quality accounts preparation and tax compliance. Any experience of working with HMRC or on VAT returns will put you at a great advantage for this role. Your experience of accountancy software, such as Sage or Xero, will also allow you to hit the ground running and get involved with clients as swiftly as possible. You’ll be encouraged to adopt a specialism, with the support in place to help you specialise in sectors such as audit or tax to become an expert within a certain important practice field.
