WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Own a desk end-to-end. You'll manage multiple client relationships, screen and shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, manage offers, handle starts. You own the pipeline. You own the outcome.
Build a national talent pool. You'll source candidates through LinkedIn, careers fairs, referral incentives, talent pooling. You'll be creative about where you find people. You'll understand what makes a good sales or recruitment hire and you'll spot them quickly.
Win repeat business. You'll deliver quality placements that clients want to come back to. You'll manage relationships properly. You'll identify where else you can place people with the same clients.
Prospect new clients. Once you've nailed the first 3, you'll be winning new business in the same niche. You understand the market. You know who needs early-career sales and recruitment hires.
Own the numbers. You'll hit revenue per month (approximately 4 placements). You'll grow annual billings by year one. You'll do this because you're accountable, disciplined, and commercially minded.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- strong previous experience in recruitment
- Strong understanding of what makes a successful sales or recruitment hire
- Confident communicating with candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to assess sales motivation and potential quickly
- Expertise in CV reshaping and candidate positioning
- Skill at selling candidates to clients (not just placing them)
- Experience placing or hiring graduates or early-career talent
- Exposure to fast-paced, target-driven environments
- Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines
- Creative sourcing (LinkedIn, careers fairs, incentive schemes, talent pooling)
- Disciplined and able to manage time, pipeline, and priorities
- Resilient – comfortable with rejection and persistence
- Energetic, proactive, and commercially minded
- Accountable and ownership-driven
- Straight-talking, authentic, and curious about people

90 days: You've taken full ownership of the desk. You're delivering placements consistently. Clients are seeing quality. You understand the niche.
6 months: You've built a national talent pool. You're hitting monthly targets. You've got momentum. Clients are coming back.
12 months: You're billing brilliantly!. You've won new clients. The desk is repeatable and growing. You're commercially confident and building something real.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll report to the Head of Growth in a specialist recruitment business. Small, ambitious, focused. People who care about doing good recruitment, not just shifting CVs.
THE OFFER

WHO SHOULD APPLY
You've got a few years in recruitment or B2B sales. You understand what makes a good sales or recruitment hire. You're energetic, driven, and comfortable owning something. You're not precious about hard work – you'll prospect, you'll source, you'll build relationships, you'll close.
