2D CAD DESIGNER - NORWICH 2 Exciting Opportunities with Growing Engineering Manufacturer

Are you passionate about design and engineering? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment? Our client, a dynamic manufacturing company based in Norwich, is experiencing unprecedented growth and seeking 2 further talented 2D CAD Designers to join their expanding team.

About the Role: Working as part of a close-knit design team, you'll be creating custom product solutions using AutoCAD 2D software. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with customers to understand their requirements and develop innovative design solutions for manufacture in their on-site facility. You'll also support sales activities and contribute to continuous product improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design custom products using 2D AutoCAD software
  • Work directly with customers to understand requirements and develop solutions
  • Create technical drawings and specifications for production
  • Support quotation processes and new product development
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards
  • Occasional customer site visits within the UK
What We're Looking For: We welcome applications from candidates at all levels - whether you're an experienced CAD professional, recent graduate, apprentice, or college leaver with a passion for design and engineering. Essential/ideal requirements include:
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence
  • Methodical approach with good problem-solving abilities
  • Clean driving licence
  • Flexibility with working hours during busy periods
