The Role:
The selected candidate will work closely with the Chief Engineer to develop mechanical designs and solutions across a range of projects. This role is a blend of working on new design initiatives as well as supporting existing products, making a significant contribution to the lifecycle of advanced systems. The position involves hands-on mechanical design in areas like large mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems. Collaboration with production staff to address technical challenges and enhance products is key. Remaining updated with design standards and safety regulations relevant to the industry is essential.
Your Expertise:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 2D and 3D CAD design, coupled with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and production engineering. A proven track record in mechanical design and the ability to effectively interface with both internal and external customers is crucial. The ability to manage a high and varied workload, responding effectively to different demands, is also important.
