Select are currently recruiting for CAD Engineers for our client on the outskirts of Norwich.
 
Are you a CAD Engineer ready to take on a role that challenges and utilizes your expertise in mechanical systems and structures?
 
My client is looking for a talented individual to provide design and development expertise in this dynamic field.
 
The Role:
 
In this crucial position, you'll be generating mechanical designs and drawings to support various development and production programs. Your role will involve active collaboration with the Head of Engineering & Design, Engineering Project Managers, and other project leads on design tasks. You will also liaise with key stakeholders to identify optimum mechanical design solutions, ensuring high standards are met. Leadership on a variety of programs will also be a key part of your responsibilities, keeping you at the forefront of the latest design approaches and standards.
 
About You:
 
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CAD Engineering, including the generation of complex engineering drawings and models. You should be experienced in Autodesk Product Design Suite and proficient with MS Office applications. Strong communication and administrative skills are essential, along with an engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/HND/HNC). A mechanical or electrical background is preferred, and willingness to travel for business support is a plus.
