Your primary role within the company would be ensuring the bespoke production and repair of hydraulic cylinders. Your day-to-day will offer variation though, with the need to manufacture power packs and bespoke cylinders.
You will be leading a small workshop so will be taking charge of a well-knit and supportive team of engineering and manufacturing professionals. Your role will be supporting your team in doing what they do best while being willing to get your hands dirty alongside them.
You'll succeed in this role by:
• Planning and organising the entire manufacturing process from machining methods to profit margins.
• Having exceptional people skills to work efficiently with your team and build new customer relationships.
• Have a strong grasp on purchasing, maintaining stock and producing costing for new jobs.
