This is a temp-to-perm role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to support warehouse, technical, and purchasing operations.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00–14:30 (flexible/negotiable)
Key Responsibilities
- Receive goods and supplies, checking product descriptions, part codes, and quantities
- Perform quality checks against descriptions, specifications, and technical drawings
- Photograph parts for marketing purposes
- Accurately store goods, maintaining correct locations and counts
- Create pick tickets and despatch notes
- Prepare stock for collection by external logistics providers
- Complete regular stock counts
- Assist the technical team with basic engineering duties
- Support the buying team with basic purchasing tasks
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse and work areas
- Follow all operating procedures and warehouse disciplines in line with ISO 9001:2008
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Previous warehouse experience
- Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift licence desirable
