Are you experienced within a Transport division, fed up with working long hours and being in the office every day?  Would you be interested in a hybrid working role (3 days in office, 2 at home) that would allows you flexible start/finish times, provides a good overall benefits package and a competitive salary?  Then look no further….  This award winning FMCG business in Norwich are looking for a Transport Planner to develop excellent working relationships with 3rd party suppliers to ensure goods are in the right place, at the right time within the right budget and service levels are of optimum standard.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
  • Planning weekly transport requirements
  • Ensuring products are collected and delivered within the agreed timeframe and deal with any changes or issues along the way
  • Ensure utilization is at optimal capacity – using most accost effective modes of transport
  • Maintaining information of pricing, pallets, thermographs, hauliers
  • Using your sound knowledge of UK routes and be aware of any challenges (weather change, road closures) that could effect delivery
