Role Overview:
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests, showcasing the best of Norfolk’s local produce. Working in our well-equipped kitchen, you will collaborate with local suppliers, plan enticing menus, and lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and create high-quality, innovative dishes, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring all culinary standards and procedures are met.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
