You’ll help cover staff absences, busy periods, and special events across various locations.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook meals to menu and dietary standards
- Keep food quality, hygiene, and presentation high
- Follow food safety rules and company policies
- Work well in different kitchen settings and teams
- Support menu planning and daily kitchen operations
- Train and assist kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Proven chef experience in settings like restaurants, schools, or care homes
- Culinary training or qualification preferred
- Strong food safety knowledge
- Great cooking skills and creativity
- Team player with good communication
- Flexible with shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Willing to travel between locations
- Enhanced DBS required for schools and care homes
