Our client are market leaders within their industry, specialising in innovative health care products they manufacture for many leading brands across Europe.
Due to increased growth month on month they are looking to add to their Manufacturing, packaging and Blending teams and offering Permanent positions after a period of 3 months for the successful candidates.
Shifts available:
Days:6am to 6pm - 4 on 4 off
Night Shifts:6pm to 6am - 4 on 4 off
Responsibilities
• Operate machines according to directions in the daily work schedule
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams and report malfunctions to a supervisor
• Inspect and remove defective products and production / packaging materials
• Create and maintain accurate records relating to activity during manufacturing / packaging of products
• Effective and efficient relaying of relevant information to colleagues or supervisors
• Actively participate in any continuous improvement activities
• Share experience, knowledge and best practice with colleagues
• Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Sort, grade, weigh and inspect products. Verifying and adjusting product weights or measurements to meet specification
• Demonstrate good housekeeping practices in all areas occupied
• Apply best practice standards in all areas of HS&E, quality procedures and standing operating procedures
• Proactively identify and make recommendations for improvements in all relevant areas of the business
• Ensure provided PPE is maintained and used as prescribed, replenishing as necessary
• Any other duties are required by the management team
