Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant (Hybrid, Potential for Permanent)
Our client, an established organisation making a real difference to people's lives, have exciting opportunity to join their finance team as an Accounts Assistant.
They are looking for someone to join their team between 2-3 months however there is potential for permanent for those who desire it.
The role is part-time, 22.50 hours a week though there is flexibility for more hours and is hybrid, with our client wanting you to come into their offices in Summertown once a week.
The role will pay between £13-£17p/h dependent on experience and is to start ASAP, though there could be some flexibility if you are on a week or 2 week notice.
The Role
·Responsibility for purchase and sales ledger function
·Match Credit card forms to statements and manage any petty cash
·Prepare and process Monthly payroll (approx. 50 employees) using sage payroll
·Reconcile balance sheet accounts in line with month-end checklist
·Alert the Bursar to any unresolved discrepancies and agree actions
The Ideal Candidate
·Experience of using accounting software
·Experience of bookkeeping and financial management
·Knowledge and experience of payroll
·AAT Lv2 is desirable but not essential
·Efficient with a good eye for detail
