This role involves operating and maintaining lathe machinery, inspecting finished products, and ensuring consistently high-quality production standards.
Full training is provided alongside a structured onboarding process.
Shift Pattern :
- Week 1: Sunday – Wednesday
- Week 2: Sunday – Tuesday
- Shift Times: 06:00 – 18:00
- Duration: Up to 6 weeks
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
- £12.95 per hour during training
- £14.76 per hour after training, once transferred to shifts
- Shape, cut, and finish materials to precise specifications using lathe machines
- Set up and operate lathe machines efficiently and safely
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
- Use precision measuring tools accurately
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience operating lathe machines is desirable
- Commitment to producing high-quality products
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols within a manufacturing environment
