Kitchen Manager - Garden Centre Restaurant Full Time - 40 hours per week (to include weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis) Day time hours, no evenings, nights or split shifts

You have a passion for food, and you excel at preparing fresh dishes for customers to enjoy.

What you probably don't enjoy is working late at night or split shifts.

We're looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our client's busy kitchen team in their Garden Centre Restaurant. The restaurant is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. No more evening service and late nights! As our client's Kitchen Manager, you'll balance your passion for food with the rest of your life. 

The restaurant is at the heart of their garden centre and serves as a key draw for customers to visit. Your eye for detail and organisational skills will mean outstanding customer service matters as much to you as the ingredients on your menu. You will be equally dedicated to inspiring, leading and developing your team to ensure you develop great chefs to deliver great food and great profits.

What We're Looking For:
  • Commercial acumen and business understanding
  • Experience managing stock levels effectively
  • Proven ability to control wastage and costs
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements in commercial kitchens
  • Food hygiene qualification at Level 3
  • Hands-on cooking experience and ability to prepare dishes to specifications
  • Team leadership and management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
  • Experience training and developing chefs
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Commitment to excellent customer service standards
  • Focus on delivering profitability
