Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8:30am - 5:30pm | Fri: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Contract: Permanent or Contract considered

The Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly expanding business in the offshore energy sector, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team during an exciting period of significant growth. Due to continuous, significant contract wins, they're investing heavily in their people infrastructure and need someone to who can hit the ground running.
This is a varied, hands-on role with real impact in addition to supporting the general functions within HR, it would also include developing their apprenticeship programme, and driving community engagement initiatives.
The Business
This Lowestoft-based company provides offshore energy solutions across project builds, logistics and maintenance globally. Following strategic restructure, they have a clear five-year growth plan and are expanding within their current site.
The Role - Three Key Priorities as their HR Advisor:
- Drive manager engagement, provide support, and ensure completion or 121’s and appraisals across all departments. You'll need to work under pressure and bring structure to a fast-paced environment.
- Own their Corporate Social Responsibility strategy—identify community projects and funding schemes that align with company values and enhance their local presence.
- Strengthen their apprenticeship scheme by raising awareness, creating robust processes, and positioning it as a key talent pipeline.
- Partnering with their outsourced HR Consultant on policies and processes
- Provide generalist HR support as the business scales
Essential:
- Track record of delivering HR projects under tight deadlines
- Experience implementing or refreshing appraisal/performance processes
- Proven ability to engage and influence managers at all levels
- Hands-on, autonomous approach with strong ownership
- CSR or community project experience
- Apprenticeship or early careers programme management
- Manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector background
- Experience working with external HR consultants
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused
- An excellent communicator and influencer
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Proactive with the ability to build credibility fast
