Are you a high volume head chef looking to work in one of the regions most iconic independent Deli bistros?  I am currently recruiting for a Head Chef vacancy for a high volume fresh food business in Royston.
As head chef, you will be coaching, developing and mentoring a large team while producing a menu using 100% fresh food catering for a large range of clientele and cuisines.
This business is a bit of an institution and a real destination with locals and tourists, you need to be confident in serving very busy brunch service, straight into lunch and afternoon teas.
My client really invests time and effort in their team and recognise then reward those who go the extra mile, with a mix of industry training, excellent career progression and the opportunity to run your own kitchen. It’s a great time to join the site as a large kitchen extension and refurbishment is planned this year, so a great opportunity to be involved with the business direction.
The ideal candidate will come from a busy fresh food background, have a good understanding of menu writing & costing, stocktakes, full due diligence and be able to run, motivate and develop the kitchen team and offering.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends & bank holidays
