We're recruiting for a proactive and experienced Department Manager to join our client, a stunning garden centre in need of a talented individual to manage their Garden plants section.
We're looking for someone with a retail background in garden centres or horticulture, or a similar retail background with an understanding and knowledge of gardening. You'll be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maximise sales opportunities. You'll need an energetic and engaging personality to connect with customers, as well as expertise in hardy plants, roses, and shrubbery.
This role requires a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with meticulous attention to detail for stock placement and retail displays. You'll also need to have strong analytical skills to maximise profit and minimise losses, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
