Our client is looking for an experienced Bar, Restaurant and Functions Manager.
Summary:
This is very much a hands on role and would suit someone who has an engaging personality and likes to be at the forefront at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing and co-ordinating the front of house team, within the restaurant, bars and function area.
• Working closely with the internal teams to ensure events run smoothly and with great attend to detail.
• Communicating with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient processing and delivery of orders.
• Managing the bars, including input to what products to stock to keep up to date with the customer demand and latest trends.
• Cellar management, knowledge with ales and kegs and ensuring that line cleaning is done to a schedule.
• Recruitment, training and development of staff
• Ordering stock
Key Skills and Attributes required:
Previous management experience within the hospitality industry
Cellar management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
Commitment to providing a high level of service
Business Development background would be beneficial
