Temporary Finance Officer (Part-Time, Hybrid working, Potential Permanent)
Our client, a multi-award winning and established charity, has an exciting opportunity to join their team as Finance Officer.
The role is initially temporary and is projected to last 3 months however there is an opportunity for a permanent position too. The role is hybrid working, 22.5-30 hours a week and is to start as soon as possible.
The pay rate is between £15p/h-£18p/h and the office is easily accessible near central Oxford.
The Role
·Manage general ledger
·Prepare monthly management accounts and commentary
·Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return
·Working directly with operational management to support the production of annual budgets and forecasts
·Reconcile accounts
The Ideal Candidate
·Part-Qualified Accountant, fully qualified accounting technician or equivalent demonstrated experience or expertise
·Working knowledge of charity accounting and tax
·Attention to detail
·Strong IT skills including Excel and Word
·Experience of Sage 50 is desirable
