I am looking for an experienced rosette head chef, to take on the running of this established and busy destination 2 AA rosette gastro pub in Hertfordshire

The menu is a mix of British pub classics and Rosette fine dining, you need to be happy cooking traditional dishes like fish and chips and Sunday roast along side Ala Carte menu items.

You will have the opportunity to alongside the directors steer the business in new culinary directions taking advantage of the local produce available, and by engaging with customers to listen to what they are looking for.

As head chef you will be given the opportunity to run the kitchen as if it was your own business, with full autonomy on menu direction, suppliers, & style.

You will have full responsibility for coaching, developing and mentoring a team of 8 working with your senior kitchen team to produce a menu using 100% fresh food catering for a large range of clientele and cuisines. You will have the full backing of the company and directors to mould the business and the operations as you see fit.

The business operates covering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, so as head chef you need to be very organised and meticulous in your operating style

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends, bank holidays and evenings
