You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to deliver accurate, high-quality components on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and production paperwork.
  • Check dimensions and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.
  • Complete all relevant production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Carry out quality control checks during and after machining runs.
  • Prepare and handle materials, tooling, and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Identify and report issues such as delays, tooling wear, or material shortages.
  • Keep machine uptime high and setup times low.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Always follow company policies and health & safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven CNC machining experience (3-axis or 5-axis, ideally wood or composite).
  • Programming experience with Xilog Plus, X-Door, or similar software highly desirable.
  • Background in manufacturing, joinery, or precision machining advantageous.
  • Good mechanical understanding and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Forklift licence an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Personal Attributes
  • Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused.
  • Calm and methodical under pressure
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills.
  • Keen to develop skills and grow within the business.
