We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Catering Assistant to work in a school for one of our clients based in Stalham. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a food preparation/catering environment and a valid DBS check.
As a catering assistant, you will be assisting with the preparation of meals for large groups of children. You will be mainly in the school kitchen, but also out front in the dining room during morning break and lunch time serving the students and operating a till. You’ll also play a key role in cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and surfaces, ensuring that safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
To fulfil this catering assistant role in a school, you will need a valid Enhanced DBS check. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions are also essential. Although it is preferred that you have your own transport, it is not essential.
Offering an hourly rate of £12 with the possibility of permanent opportunities for the right candidate. This catering assistant role offers the hours of Monday to Friday 8am-2pm each day.
