Our client in one of the leading independent manufacturers and suppliers in their specialist field. With over 40 years of successful business growth, numerous awards won, and their own bespoke software systems, this is a great time to join. They are now on the hunt for an Assistant Buyer to make sure the business can offer the correct products at competitive prices to their customers.
This brand new role ideally suit someone with a good amount of experience within purchasing or supply chain, bonus points for category management experience, that has a working knowledge of supplier management, and that is confident in their negotiating skills.
As a key member of the operations, you’ll be working in a tight knit team, as you carefully select the best products and suppliers for the business. You’ll also be conducting market research, setting up online product listings, and creating reports and acting on what is and isn’t working.
