Job Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Norwich
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour + 15% shift allowance
 
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 15:30 – 23:30
  • First week: Day shift training 07:00 – 15:30
  • Overtime available during the week and on weekends
Are you a hands-on person with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, high-tech environment with excellent training and career development opportunities.
 
The Role:
You’ll be assembling electronic products and performing soldering tasks, so previous experience in product assembly is essential. An interest in electronics is highly beneficial, along with a strong focus on quality and adherence to work standards.

You’ll work in a clean, quiet, high-tech production area with live performance screens, air conditioning set at 22°C year-round, and a relaxed dress code. The open-plan team environment means managers work alongside you, know everyone by name, and are fully supportive of your growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, test, and pack high-quality instruments
  • Follow instructions and processes to ensure quality and safety
  • Work collaboratively across different manufacturing cells
  • Take part in training, process improvements, and team meetings

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Comfortable using computers for basic tasks
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
