We are pleased to share that Emma is now a member of the 500 club for Priscilla Bacon Hospice, the club is made up of a community of local businesses coming together to support hospice and their cause.
As a member of the 500 club and the only recruiter within the community, Emma has pledged to raise £500 over the next 12 months.
We asked Emma why joining the initiative was so important to her and how she plans on raising funds this year;
“I recently connected with Amy at Priscilla Bacon Lodge and we met up for some networking, we spoke about the 500 club initiative, I was really invested in what she is doing and wanted to support them, so naturally I wanted to explore the idea of joining the club.
There are handful of people I know, friends and contacts, who have family members that have previously been supported by Priscilla Bacon Lodge so it felt like something close to a lot of our hearts, and for Amy to have a target of getting 100 members in such a short space of time was great, I wanted to support her.
This year I’m hoping to climb the three peaks and thought this could be a great start to getting some funds raised, so watch this space!”
