Job Summary:

As a Solution Delivery Analyst, you will support the Solution Delivery Manager in the delivery of the portfolio of work requests and projects. The portfolio will range from very large, complex ICT projects to the opposite end of the spectrum whereby there are numerous high volumes of small to medium size projects.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Support the Solution Delivery Manager in the delivery of a portfolio of projects, which will include the scoping exercise, prepare the specification, delivery and implementation of work packages, UAT. Primary focus will delivery of small to medium sized projects.

• Deliver specific projects as delegated by the Solution Delivery Manager ensuring that key requirements are met in terms of objectives, costs and timescales throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle. Provide feedback to the Solution Delivery Manager on the status of projects identifying key risks, change requests, review of issues and evaluate progress in relation to the project plan.

• Develop and maintain a level of knowledge that reflects the changes in the industry to ensure that their knowledge is current and up to date.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance from the Solution Delivery Manager
• Ability to work as part of a team and ethos of good teamwork to collaboratively achieve a common goal
• Adaptable - Understand the diversity of the organisation and whilst applying consistent methods and high quality standards the scope and nature of work will vary from project to project
• Confident and friendly demeanour. Ability to communicate at all levels effectively and understand the target audience
• Proven good customer service skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation and with external agencies
• Ability to manage third-party suppliers and contractors setting clear objectives and timescales
• Enjoy the challenge of solution delivery and goal / target focused work
• Understand what success represents in the context of the plan or work package. Ability to work to a high standard
• Analytical mind set and problem-solving aptitude
• Dynamic and adaptable to meet changing priorities
• Knowledge of the principles of relational databases and competent in the use SQL.

Qualifications:

• Prince II foundation
• ILM level 2 or equivalent qualification to demonstrate leadership skills

• Flexible approach to work and understand the dynamics of working for a retail organisation are not Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
